Dr. Glasberg has appeared numerous times in the news and media. He has been featured on shows such as the Early Show

Research and Publications
Dr. Glasberg continually involves himself in research activities and has won multiple awards. His research has been
published in numerous peer review journals and has included new techniques in breast reconstruction and the treatment
and prevention of keloid and hypertrophic wound healing as well as the assessment of pediatric craniofacial deformities.
He continually presents and lectures at many national, regional and local meetings and societies.

Dr. Israeli is regarded as a leading advocate for breast cancer patients. He is the only plastic surgeon currently
on the advisory board of the Adelphi University New York State Breast Cancer Hotline and Support Program, a group
dedicated to addressing the psychosocial issues associated with breast cancer. For his leadership in post-mastectomy
breast reconstruction, the American Cancer Society honored Dr. Israeli with their 2007 Physician of Distinction Award.
Research and Publications
Dr. Israeli has published more than a dozen articles on a variety of plastic surgery topics and has
presented at numerous regional, national and international plastic surgery conferences. He has delivered
more than two dozen lectures and grand rounds on the subjects of post-mastectomy breast reconstruction
and abdominal wall reconstruction.

Most of Dr. Salzberg's current research and publications have been in the areas of breast reconstruction,
the prevention and treatment of pressure ulcers and the treatment of burns. He has published some

In 2001, Dr. Salzberg pioneered the development of Single-Stage Breast Reconstruction with Implant and

panels, and courses, and authored the textbook Surgery of the Breast: Principles and Art. He is the
breast section editor for the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and his opinions are featured
in many media forums such as the New York Times, The Washington Post, National Public Radio, CNN,
ABC, NBC, FOX and CBS.
